Where do contributions go? Funds raised go to the Colorado General Assembly leaders and other key State legislators in the form of donations to support activities and issues mandated each year by the Colorado Association of Libraries' annual legislative agenda. Funds are aslo used to provide advocacy information for libraries in situations where it is improper to use public funds for such activities. |

Since the passage of Amendment 27 (November 2002 general election), individual contributions are limited to a maximum of $250 per person per year, or a maximum total of $500 per person per two-year "election cycle". Corporate and anonymous contributions are illegal. |

Why support CLPAC?
Your donation is an investment in your library. Whether the issue in the legislative session is securing funds for the Colorado Library Consortium (CLiC) and Colorado Virtual Library (CVL), restoring funds for the CRC and State Grants, or passage of new library legislation, it is important that you are proactive. Your dollars support legislators who support Colorado Libraries as well as provide funds that can be used to impact issues and activities identified by the Colorado Association of Libraries annual Legislative Agenda.
